Primary purpose of the job

Perform electrical maintenance as well as fault finding maintenance on machinery equipment and buildings accordingly and ensure that company quality standards are met.

Key Performance Areas

Repair and maintain press and assembly machinery and building electricity to ensure customer and company quality standards are met and are on SANS 10142 standards.

Do preventative maintenance as per maintenance schedule and according to job cards and relevant works instruction.

Compile feedback on time sheets to ensure accurate repair data and forward to the Team Leader.

Ensure that company procedures, works instructions and quality systems are adhered to at all times.

Participate actively in the departmental M2S as per company requirements.

Ensure that work practices comply with the company SHEQ procedures and work instructions.

Minimum Requirements                                                                                  

Min. 3 years’ experience as electrician within an automotive environment

NQF Level 4 or Matric

Qualified Electrician/Millwright
