    Job Summery:

    We are a well established injection moulding company looking for a young, hands-on junior to intermediate injection mould fitter and turner to join our tooling and maintenance team in an injection moulding environment. This role is ideal for a candidate who is eager to grow their skills in injection moulding tool maintenance and repair. 

    1.  Maintenance and servicing of injection moulding Tools(EG. Replacement of o-rings, springs, ejector pins, fix broken threads etc)
    2.   Ensure all tools are maintained to quality standards prior to production.
    3.  Polishing of the mould cavities and components.
    4. Troubleshoot with mould related issues during production, such as Air vents issues.
    5. Needs to work with tool stripping, assembly and all fault finding.
    6.  Keep work area clean and follow safety procedures.
    7. Cleaning, inspection and maintenance of hot runner systems

Required Skills

  • Welding: 1 to 2 years
  • Tool & Die: 3 to 4 years
  • Fitter Machinist: 1 to 2 years

Candidate Requirements

Minimum requirement

·         5 to 10 years practical experience working with injection mould tools.

·         Qualification or training as a toolmaker/tool & Die/ mould maintenance (or working towards it)

·         Understanding injection moulding tools and components.

·         Experience in Polishing of moulds at advanced level.

·         Willingness to learn new things, reliable, punctual and team-oriented.

·         Must know how to do tig-welding or any welding experience.

 

 

Advantageous skills (not essential)

·         experience with ISO or FSSC22000 quality standards

·         Experience in Thin-walled injection moulding tooling

·         Exposure to hotrunner system

·         Experience in a plastic or injection moulding factory

·         Ability to work overtime when required.
