Minimum requirements:
Purpose:
The daily general management of the Metallurgical Plant to ensure the efficient processing and recovery of diamonds

Technical Skills:
Thorough knowledge of diamond plants and DMS and Recovery circuits
Strong leadership skills and management capabilities
Strong technical problem-solving skills and troubleshooting skills
In-depth understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations within the mining and processing sector
Work under pressure and demonstrate a high level of managerial skills as a leader of a team of professionals and department heads
Cognitive skills
Applicable financial, technical & legal skills& knowledge
Knowledge and understanding of metallurgical best practices and standards
Computer and MS office Skills

Qualifications:
Minimum: Degree in Metallurgy through a recognised Institution plus Code 8 or related experience in production plants
Desired: Degree in Metallurgy or related discipline plus Management Degree

Experience:
Minimum: 5 years DMS and Recovery or separation technology experience of which at least 3 years on senior management level
Desired: 8 years DMS and Recovery or separation technology experience of which at least 5 years will be on senior management level
