Collect Representative Samples
Gather samples of incoming raw materials according to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Inspect and Verify Materials
Check containers and labels (lot numbers, specifications, condition) to confirm that the materials match purchase orders and documentation.
 
Proper Labeling & Documentation
Accurately label samples and record all details (e.g., date, batch number, location) in logs or laboratory systems.
Maintain Sample Integrity
Ensure samples are stored under appropriate conditions and handled in a way that avoids contamination.
Support QC and Production Teams
Deliver samples to the Quality Control laboratory and coordinate with QC staff for testing needs.
Follow Safety & Regulatory Protocols
Work safely and in compliance with GMP, safety guidelines, and internal procedures to maintain audit readiness.
 
Record Keeping & Reporting
Maintain accurate records of sample collection activities for traceability and compliance.
Other Duties
May include assisting inventory tracking, interacting with warehouse staff, and participating in continuous improvement or training efforts
