Role Overview:

We are seeking a hardworking and reliable individual to join our team as a Housekeeper/ Laundry Hand. The candidate will be responsible for sorting, washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing in a timely and efficient manner. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail and be able to work well in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sorting and separating linens and clothing based on color, fabric, and type
• To clean guest tents according to the housekeeping procedures manual
• To launder linen, towels and other items ensuring that they are washed and pressed according to the care instructions
• Meet and greet guests on arrival in camp, assist with the luggage collection on arrival and departure
• Ensure that the Laundry area is clean and tidy at all times
• To record stock, reporting back to management if there are any items missing.
• Following all safety and sanitation protocols

Qualifications and Skills:

• Minimum of 5 O level passes including English or equivalent
• Previous experience working in a laundry facility or similar environment preferred
• Ability to lift and carry heavy loads
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication skills
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
