About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to ensure the efficient and cost-effective movement of stock from suppliers to our warehouse in Jet Park. This is a strategic and operational leadership role responsible for inbound supply chain processes, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Define, document, and standardise critical supply chain processes, ensuring adherence and continuous improvement through automation where possible.
Develop and maintain a robust succession plan, mentoring and delegating responsibilities to identified successors.
Ensure all product master data impacting inventory movement and receipt processes is accurate and complete.
Manage purchase order processes across supplier portals and SysPro, ensuring alignment and reconciliation of order books.
Drive strategic operational initiatives and deliver on quarterly SCorPion objectives and key supply chain projects.
Ensure customs, regulatory, and SARS compliance, including correct tariff classifications and certifications, minimising delays and penalties.
Maintain full visibility of inbound shipments and communicate priorities to the warehouse and stakeholders.
Ensure operational tasks are completed proactively to maintain uninterrupted stock flow.
Deliver accurate and timely internal and cross-functional reporting.
Minimum Requirements
Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
Minimum 8 years’ experience in supply chain, preferably within fast-paced consumer electronics or similar industries with multiple stock locations.
Strong financial, business, and analytical skills.
Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to follow through on tasks.
Proven leadership experience managing large and diverse teams.
