Our South African team is expanding, and we are building a new trading base in Cape Town. We are now recruiting for Sports Trading Analysts to join our team.

The Person

Live Cricket Odds creating is a skill! It is extremely fast-paced and exciting. You get to pit your knowledge and research of cricket players and teams against the world. We need you to be calm under pressure, decisive and good with probability and very confident in your MS Excel skills.

The Role

As a LIVE CRICKET ODDS CREATOR, you will be responsible for managing betting markets on live cricket matches using our internal models, data and tools.

You will:

               •             Watch live cricket matches across multiple formats

               •             Use predictive models and historical data to assess likely outcomes

               •             Update live scoring accurately and in real time

               •             Adjust market prices based on match events

               •             Monitor risk and market behaviour

               •             Work collaboratively within a trading team environment

               •             Maintain strong attention to detail under live, time-pressured conditions

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for applicants who demonstrate:

Essential Skills & Attributes

               •             A genuine passion for cricket

               •             Good mathematical ability (probability, logic, basic statistical thinking)

               •             Comfortable with computers and Microsoft Excel

               •             Ability to concentrate for extended periods

               •             Calm decision-making under pressure

               •             A professional and responsible attitude

               •             Willingness to learn and follow structured processes

               •             Good communication and teamwork skills

               •             Understanding of cricket strategy, conditions and match situations

Training & Recruitment Process

All applicants will complete:

1.           Interview – assessing:

               •             Basic maths ability

               •             Cricket understanding

2.           Training Program

•            Cricket History, Strategy, Statistics

               •             Data analytics

•            Scoring software and practice

               •             Prediction parameters and practice

⚠ Important Notice

Approximately 50% of candidates do not pass training.

We strongly advise candidates not to relocate permanently to Cape Town until the training period has been completed successfully, and a full employment contract agreed.
