Technical Product Owner: Platform Enablement – (Senior, 5+ years’ experience)

We’re looking for a strong Technical Product Owner to lead a portfolio of platform products and services that enable all of IDM’s product teams to deliver faster, safer and at scale.

If you enjoy solving hard platform problems, shaping developer experience, and building shared capabilities that power multiple products, this role offers real ownership, influence, and technical depth.

This is not a feature PO role. You will own a portfolio of enablement products and services used internally by multiple squads across a growing fintech ecosystem.

What you’ll do

As a Platform Product Owner, you will:

• Own a portfolio of internal platform products and shared services that enable multiple stream-aligned teams.
• Shape the platform vision and roadmap in partnership with technical teams and technology leadership.
• Define product boundaries, service contracts, and platform standards to reduce friction and duplication across teams.
• Shape the long-term evolution of the enablement platform — balancing short-term delivery with scalability, reliability and operability.
• Turn strategy into action by defining clear user stories, backlog items, and success metrics.
• Collaborate closely with developers, systems architects, DevOps, and analysts.
• Lead the delivery of impactful products that reduce cognitive load through standards, tooling, automation, and self-service.
• Drive high-quality discovery, backlog refinement and delivery flow with stakeholders and development teams.
• Align stakeholders around priorities, outcomes and delivery trade-offs in a complex environment.
  
  

What you’ll bring

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in product on complex platforms or digital products.
• Demonstrated ability to engage deeply with technical design: APIs, data models, system integration, cloud architecture, non-functional requirements and operational considerations.
• Experience working directly with engineers on platform, data, integration, infrastructure or developer tooling products.
• Able to translate architectural concepts into product strategy and delivery sequencing.
• Strong analytical thinking and comfort with data, systems and process complexity.
• The ability to make decisions using data.
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills — you’re comfortable leading discussions and building alignment.
• Solid working knowledge of Agile delivery, backlog management and continuous improvement practices.
• High ownership mindset with strong execution discipline.
• A Bachelor’s degree in engineering, information systems, mathematics, science, or a related field.
