Plumbing, Workshop & Security Oversight

Ensure reliable operation of water supply, waste systems, and environmental compliance.
Manage central workshop operations supporting fabrication, repairs, and spare parts availability.
Oversee security operations, including access control, surveillance systems, and contractor monitoring.

Compliance & Safety

Ensure full compliance with WHS, building codes, electrical standards, fire safety, and biosecurity regulations.
Lead safety and risk assessments across all engineering functions.
Prepare for and participate in regulatory, certification, and compliance audits.

Project & Asset Management

Implement asset lifecycle management practices to extend infrastructure lifespan.
Maintain accurate records of asset condition, service history, and compliance.

Financial Management

Develop and manage departmental budgets, including operational and capital expenditure.
Monitor project costs, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure value-for-money procurement.
