To carry out routine servicing, maintenance & repairs of Bobcat/SANY equipment according to OEM specifications.
Repair, service and maintain IC and Electrical forklifts on customer sites and Workshop.
To be able to work with limited supervision.
Complete the necessary job cards, time sheets and inspection reports including machine downloads & Photo’s.
To have a sound knowledge of hydraulic systems and their basic principles as well as being able to read schematics.
To be able to diagnose and repair faults in diesel engines, hydraulic systems and/or electrical / Electronic systems.
Assist in the repair and overhaul of other various components / assemblies on earthmoving equipment.
Carry out equipment repair assessments and complete the related paperwork thereof.
Ensure personal and co-workers’ adherence and compliance to security and the Company’s SHE objectives.
Work overtime, be on standby and be available for callouts as and when required.
Communicate with Managers, Call Centre, and Customers.
Housekeeping, clean-up of all maintenance areas/ work areas daily.
Assisting with other general maintenance activities.
Traveling required to service and repair on sites. Overnight when required.
Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electric and electronic faults on all equipment.
Administrative tasks, complete procedural job cards, order equipment and spare parts, timesheets and inspection reports, including machine downloads and photos.

Trade test qualification (red seal) a definite requirement.
At least 5 years’ experience in the earthmoving, access equipment and lift truck industry.
Must be able to read and write English.
Must be familiar with hydraulic pumps, drive motors, hydro-static transmissions, hoses, cylinders, engines, drive trains and auto-electric diagnostics and repair.
Must have a technical aptitude.
Must have a valid Driver’s license.
Computer literacy required.
Must be qualified with a Diesel / Auto Electric / Lift Truck trade test certificate.
Ability to search for and read schematics and interpret it correctly.
Ability to conduct administrative tasks, complete procedural job cards, order equipment and spare parts, complete timesheets and inspection reports, including machine downloads and pictures.
Should have extensive auto-electrical and hydraulics experience.
Must adhere to all SHE requirements.
