Our client, a well-established business in the manufacturing and construction industry based in Philippi (Cape Town), has a vacancy for a Quantity Surveyor to join their team. The ideal candidate is someone who is analytical, commercially aware, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities will include (but not limited to): *Manage subcontractors, including measurement, valuations, and final accounts *Prepare cash flow projections in line with construction programmes *Compile and submit monthly claims, including on-site measurement *Agree progress measurements with client Quantity Surveyors and Engineers *Manage variations and change control throughout the project lifecycle *Conduct monthly cost reporting, cost analysis, and financial reviews *Prepare and agree final accounts with clients and subcontractors *All other tasks related to the role.

Essential qualifications, skills and experience:
• Degree in Quantity Surveying (BSc or BTech);
• Minimum 2 years’ experience working for a Contractor;
• Proven experience of earthworks and civil projects;
• Proficient in CCS Candy;
• Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport;
• Willing to travel between sites regularly.
