Who you are

You are an experienced tyre professional who knows heavy-duty truck tyres and is comfortable working hands-on in a tyre bay. You have done the physical work, understand tyre wear and maintenance, and are ready to supervise a team responsible for keeping a large fleet safe and roadworthy. You are practical, organised and firm when needed, and you take pride in doing the job properly.

This role is suited to someone who can work with people, follow systems and keep standards high in a busy operational environment.

Your Areas of Responsibility

• Supervise the daily work in the tyre bay, including fitting, repairs, rotations, balancing and replacements.


• Lead and manage a team responsible for tyre maintenance across a fleet of approximately 160 trucks and trailers.


• Ensure tyres are maintained correctly to support road safety, vehicle uptime and cost control.


• Inspect tyres regularly and identify wear, damage and maintenance needs.


• Manage tyre stock, track usage and ensure tyres are available when needed.


• Work with tyre tracking and fleet systems to monitor tyre performance and lifespan.


• Keep basic records and reports on tyre usage, costs and condition.


• Ensure all work is done safely and in line with company and legal safety standards.

Key Requirements

• Good knowledge of large, heavy-duty tyres used on trucks and trailers


• Experience managing tyres within a truck and trailer fleet environment


• Ability to supervise and guide a small team
