    ROLE SUMMARY

    We seek a Coordinator to support implementation across ECD centres: provide educator support, facilitate training and parent workshops, engage communities, ensure quality delivery and report on progress.

     

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    1. Coordinate FMSL implementation across assigned ECD centres.
    2. Provide mentorship and on-site support to ECD educators.
    3. Facilitate educator training sessions and parent workshops.
    4. Support community engagement and mobilisation activities.
    5. Monitor programme progress and ensure quality delivery.
    6. Collect and analyze data, compile monthly and quarterly progress reports.
    7. Liaise with educators, centre managers, parents and stakeholders

Candidate Requirements

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  1. ECD qualification (minimum NQF level 6)
  2. Bachelor’s degree in Community Development (or related) will be an added advantage.
  3. Experience in facilitation/training and community-based programmes.
  4. Experience in project coordination/programme implementation (ECD preferred).
  5. Strong communication, organisation and report-writing skills.
  6. Commitment to travel between ECD centres
  7. Own transport
  8. Valid drivers license
  9. Police clearance certificate

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

ADDED ADVANTAGE

  • Experience with ECD centres/NGO or donor-funded programmes.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the National Curriculum Framework for children from birth to 4-year-olds.
  • Understanding of ECD within the context of the South African Children`s Act 38 of 2005
  • Knowledge of early numeracy, literacy or science programmes.

 

 

 

 

•       Ability to facilitate in local languages.
