Employer: West Coast Personnel

My client in the Bloubergstrand area (Cape Town), is looking for an experienced Estate Manager to oversee the full spectrum of operational, maintenance, and facilities functions.

This hands-on management role requires a professional with strong technical, financial, and interpersonal abilities who can balance the expectations of multiple stakeholders while maintaining excellence in all aspects of estate operations.

Minimum Requirements

Must already live in Cape Town
Must have a full knowledge of Sectional Title laws / Homeowners Association & Property laws
Matric / Grade 12
National Diploma in Facilities Management, Property Management, Building Management / Business Administration
8+ years’ estate management experience
Solid understanding of maintenance and structural issue diagnosis and resolution
Proven experience drawing up and managing budgets
Strong leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills
Valid driver’s licence and own reliable transport

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily estate operations, including maintenance, security, landscaping, and cleaning
Manage and supervise staff to ensure consistent service delivery
Identify and resolve maintenance and structural issues efficiently
Prepare and manage budgets, reports, and preventative maintenance plans
Maintain accurate operational and administrative records
Enforce estate rules and presentation standards
Build and maintain positive relationships with residents and stakeholders
Provide after-hours support when required
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00 (with flexibility for after-hours emergencies).
