WORKING HOURS

Monday to Friday: 07:45 – 17:00
Saturdays: 08:00 – 13:00
Public holidays when needed will be required due to the nature of the industry.

REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications / Skills

Matric
SAP advantageous
CISTECH advantageous

Experience Needed

At least 2 years FMCG experience
Seafood knowledge will be advantageous

Personal & Work Requirements

Must have good written and verbal communication skills
Honesty, integrity & reliability
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Self-motivated: ability to work with little supervision
A willingness to learn
Open to change and learning new systems
Able to work under pressure
Good time management
Be able to work sub-zero temperatures
Able to work public holidays and Saturdays

JOB PURPOSE

All-round shop assistant to assist in the shop by merchandising, selling products and dealing with customer queries.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Merchandising products in the shop while ensuring food safety standards are adhered to
Ensuring customers are dealt with in a professional manner and assisting in any requests or complaints
Ensuring that health & safety regulations are practiced and adhered to
Participate in monthly / ad-hoc stock takes
Assist in any department within the shop
