A career opportunity exists with REINHARDT TRANSPORT GROUP (RT LOADERS DIVISION) in RUSTENBURG for the position of:

MECHANIC – FRONT END LOADERS

(Please note this is NOT an OPERATOR position)

JOB SUMMARY: (not limited to)

• Maintain current FEL machines on our sites in Rustenburg
• Do Spot Checks on machines daily
• Daily Greasing / washing of the machines
• Signing off Checklists Daily
• Conduct Brake checks / testing daily
• Preventative maintenance on the machines
• Assist the OEM with services and repairs.
• Identify mechanical faults on equipment and manually pinpointing sources of trouble
• Maintain and repair the brake system, such as disc and drum brakes
• Carry out diagnosis and repair of problems in the electrical system, including the battery, starter, and alternator
• Record all repairs or maintenance in the appropriate occupational reports
• Follow proper safety protocols and maintain an organized, clean work area

REQUIREMENT:

• Diesel Mechanic Trade Test Qualification COMPULSORY
• Minimum 3 years working experience in related field COMPULSORY
• Grade 12
• Drivers Licence Code 8
• Understanding of MHSA (Mine Health & Safety Act)
• Willing to work shifts and weekends
• No Criminal Record
• Must reside in the Rustenburg area or be willing to relocate.
• Positive, “can-do” attitude
