My client is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Department Manager – Fashion, Beauty & Home to join our team in Bethlehem. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the department with the objective of maximising sales in line with budgets and targets, while delivering an excellent customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Achieve departmental sales targets in line with approved budgets

• Maximise selling opportunities through effective use of selling space, displays, layouts, commercial sales plans, and demonstrations

• Drive stock availability and ensure Clothing and Home inventory processes are implemented and maintained

• Ensure shopkeeping disciplines are consistently upheld, including:

  • Ticketing, adjacencies, rack alignment, hangers

  • Hygiene, cleanliness, replenishment

  • Sample trolleys, merchandising principles

  • Stockroom discipline, product quality, proportionality, and availability

• Deliver a consistent customer shopping experience aligned with agreed service levels

• Maximise sales during promotions and special events

• Conduct weekly risk documentation

• Ensure timely replenishment of stock

• Implement and monitor all departmental activities

• Manage people effectively, including staffing, performance management, training and development, and employee relations

• Minimise and manage shrinkage

• Ensure adherence to all safety and security rules and regulations

• Handle customer complaints and queries professionally
