Role Overview
A Sales Development Representative (SDR) will focus on qualifying leads, supporting marketing campaigns, and driving outbound prospecting to generate high-quality opportunities for BDMs.
This role is ideal for someone who wants to grow into a full sales career while gaining hands-on experience with lead qualification, demos, and customer engagement.
The SDR will manage leads through the 0–3 month nurturing phase if they are not immediately ready for a demo.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Qualification & Nurturing

Qualify leads from marketing channels (ads, referrals, inbound interest) against ICP criteria.

Engage with leads to understand their needs and gather relevant information.

Book demos for BDMs when leads meet qualification criteria.

Manage the 0–3 month nurturing phase for leads requiring additional engagement.
Outbound Prospecting & Opportunity Generation

Identify new business opportunities based on ICP fit.

Assist marketing in outbound campaigns for clients who have interacted or shown interest.

Reach out to referrals and upselling opportunities following the CX retention plan.

Contact and engage key decision-makers to increase demo conversion probability.
Collaboration

Provide detailed handover notes to BDMs prior to demos.

Support BDMs with context and insight during the sales process.

Work closely with marketing and CX teams to maximize opportunity conversion.
SDR Pipeline Management

Manage lead pipeline based on demos booked, potential demos, demos lost, opportunities identified.
Key Metrics / KPIs

Number of qualified demos booked

Required Skills
- Administration: 1 year or less
- Problem Solving: 1 year or less
- Communication Skills: 1 year or less
- Crm Software: 1 year or less
Candidate Requirements

0–2 years experience in a sales, SDR, BDR, or customer-facing role (SaaS experience advantageous but not required).

Exposure to lead qualification, outbound calling, or CRM systems is preferred.

Experience working with inbound leads, cold outreach, or follow-up/nurture campaigns.

Comfortable engaging with small business owners or decision-makers.

Previous experience in tech, SaaS, retail, repair, rental, or service-based industries is a plus.
