Description:
Hire Resolve's Client is currently looking for an experienced Mine Manager to join their mining company based in the Northern Cape. You will be responsible for leading life-of-mine planning and production execution by driving operational excellence, ensuring regulatory compliance, and achieving safe, efficient, and cost-effective operations.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain the life-of-mine planning process
• Drive continuous improvement through operational excellence initiatives
• Develop, implement, monitor, and report on production strategies, plans, schedules, and activities
• Provide directional support across mining and plant operations to achieve production objectives
• Conduct inspections and assessments to improve pit performance, orebody knowledge, and resource optimisation
• Ensure accurate tracking and communication of progress against plan
• Develop, implement, and maintain policies and procedures in line with mining, safety, and legislative requirements
• Ensure compliance with applicable health, safety, and operational standards
• Build and maintain effective stakeholder relationships
• Collaborate closely with appointed legal appointees and operational teams to achieve production targets
• Promote discipline, cost control, operational efficiency, and a strong safety culture

Requirements:

• Grade 12
• Degree/Diploma in Mining Engineering
• Mine Manager's Certificate if Competency
• A minimum of 15 years’ experience in the mining industry, of which at least 5–8 years' must be in a 3.1 legal appointment
• Extensive experience in open pit mining operations
• Valid Driver's License
