Our client is seeking a Data Product Manager to execute and optimize data products on a B2B data marketplace platform. This role combines technical data expertise with product management responsibilities, managing the lifecycle of data solutions that connect enterprise buyers with data sellers.

Role Overview

•       Execute the data product roadmap and contribute to strategic planning

•       Manage assigned data product categories or seller portfolios

•       Conduct technical evaluations of data assets (quality, schema, integration feasibility)

•       Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and software developers to deliver solutions

•       Translate business requirements into actionable technical specifications

•       Build rapid prototypes to validate market demand and technical feasibility

•       Support stakeholder management and client relationships

•       Ensure data products meet governance, privacy, and quality standards

Required Skills & Experience

Product Management:

•       4–6 years of product management experience, preferably in data/analytics roles

•       Experience working with cross-functional technical teams

•       Ability to frame problems and opportunities through business and user value lenses

Technical & Data Expertise:

•       Strong SQL proficiency and comfort with data analysis

•       Solid understanding of data pipelines, integration patterns, and data quality

•       Basic knowledge of API design and data delivery mechanisms

•       Awareness of machine learning and statistical modelling applications

•       Familiarity with cloud data platforms (Azure Synapse Analytics preferred)

•       Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI highly desirable)

Qualifications:

•       Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, or related field

•       Advantageous: Python or Spark programming skills, prior B2B SaaS product experience, marketplace or platform exposure, regulated industry experience, Azure certifications
