Job Summary:  

Processing, approving, reconciliation and payment of assigned creditors in accordance with the Service Level Agreements and in compliance with company policies and procedures.

 
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
Accounting

Preparation of Annual Financial Statements
Manage control assessment tracking system CATS (internal Audit)
Assist with cash flow management and accuracy

 
External Audit

Fulfill the role of contact point for External Auditors by providing information required and assist with completion of the audit.
Resolve queries raised by External Auditors to complete audit.
Assist with External Audit as contact point, info gathering and prep

 
Tax and Statutory

Completion of Corporate Income Tax together with all related schedules
Assist with drafting Transfer Pricing Document
Completion of Provisional Tax
Calculation of Deferred Tax
Completion of Monthly VAT Returns
In charge of all statutory submissions, filings and calculations
Completion and filing of Expat tax returns
Assist with tax related issues and ensure they are resolved to minimize risk to the company
Responsible for tax management
Liaise with SARS

 
          Fixed Asset / Inventory Management

Maintain the fixed asset register
Assist by conducting bi-annual Fixed Asset and Inventory counts
Complete Fixed Asset Reports

 
Month end closing assistance

Assist with month end closing (Full function) to be available to act as back up for Finance Manager.
Prepare journals for Financial Manager review and ensure accurate recording of Sales, General and Administration Expenses.

 
Reporting

Assist with monthly reports and management of deadlines and targets
Adhoc reporting to HQ, RHQ and RTC
