Advance your career in the manufacturing industry as a Refrigeration Artisan based in the Western Cape!

In this role, you will be instrumental in operating and maintaining refrigeration plants and cold storage equipment to ensure optimal efficiency and safety. You will be responsible for routine inspections, repairs, troubleshooting, and managing the CMMS system for maintenance documentation and spare parts inventory. Your expertise in refrigeration systems, electrical controls, and cold storage operations will be essential in maintaining operational excellence and compliance with food safety standards.

Candidate Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have a Grade 12, N3 Engineering qualification, a Red Seal trade test (Electrical, Millwright, Fitter and Turner, or Refrigeration), and preferably CAT B8 Ammonia registration. Forklift and tractor operator certificates are advantageous. A minimum of 3 years’ experience in medium to large production facilities, ideally in refrigeration, is required.
