Employer: LRHR (Pty) Ltd t/a Lotus HR and Recruitment

Our client, a well-established and progressive steel fabrication company based in Paarl, seeks to employ a qualified Boilermaker to join their professional and expanding production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the fabrication, assembly, and welding of steel components and structures, ensuring work is completed accurately, safely, and in accordance with engineering specifications.

KEY REQUIREMENTS TO MEET FOR CONSIDERATION:

You must be able to work independently, maintain a high standard of workmanship, and consistently meet production deadlines in a fast-paced fabrication environment.
You will have a Trade Test as a Boilermaker, coupled with proven experience in a steel fabrication or manufacturing environment.
Strong ability to read and interpret engineering and workshop drawings
Experience in cutting, bending, rolling, and shaping steel materials
Competency in welding techniques (MIG / ARC / TIG, depending on project requirements)
Solid understanding of structural steel and plate work
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety standards
Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently

You must have a valid driver’s licence, own reliable transport, and a clear criminal and credit record.
