Job Title: Personal Assistant to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO)Location: Fisantekraal, Cape TownIndustry: Custom Automation / FMCG ManufacturingOverviewOur client, a leading designer and manufacturer of custom automated production lines for the FMCG industry, is seeking a highly capable and organised Personal Assistant to provide dedicated support to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO). This is a senior support role requiring discretion, initiative, and the ability to manage a fast-paced executive environment.
- Monday to Thursday: 06:00 – 15:00
- Friday: 06:00 – 12:00
- Provide high-level, confidential administrative support to the CEO
- Act as the CEO’s right hand, proactively managing priorities and anticipating requirements
- Manage the CEO’s diary, meetings, emails, and travel arrangements
- Coordinate internal communication between departments on behalf of the CEO
- Prepare, edit, and manage executive correspondence, reports, and presentations
- Assist with HR-related administration including onboarding, contracts, documentation, and general employee administration
- Support customer and supplier communication, follow-ups, and relationship management
- Assist with marketing coordination, including content preparation and social media scheduling where required
- Maintain organised and secure filing systems for executive, HR, and business documentation
- Track action items and ensure deadlines and commitments are met
- Proven experience as a Personal Assistant or Executive Assistant supporting senior leadership
- Strong organisational and time-management skills with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and handle sensitive information with discretion
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Sound understanding of basic HR processes and office administration
- Previous exposure to manufacturing, technical, or engineering environments is advantageous
- Working Hours
A professional, reliable, and proactive PA who is comfortable supporting a senior executive in a demanding environment. The ideal candidate is structured, calm under pressure, and able to anticipate needs while maintaining strict confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
