Our company is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Warehouse Admin Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing administrative tasks within the warehouse to ensure smooth operations and efficiency. The Warehouse Admin Clerk will work closely with warehouse staff and management to maintain accurate records, handle inventory, and assist with other administrative duties as needed.
– Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of inventory, shipments, and deliveries
– Input data into computer systems and maintain electronic files
– Process and track orders, invoices, and returns on Syspro
– Communicate with warehouse staff, managers, and suppliers to ensure timely and accurate information
– Assist with physical inventory counts and audits
– Handle general administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and answering phones
– Ensure compliance with safety and security procedures in the warehouse
– Assist with other duties as needed to support warehouse operations
– Undertake ad-hoc projects as assigned by Logistics Manager
Candidate Requirements
Qualifications:
– High school diploma or equivalent
– 3+ years of experience in warehouse operations or administrative role
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
– Strong attention to detail and accuracy
– Excellent communication and organizational skills
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
– Knowledge of inventory management systems (preferred)
– Familiarity with warehouse safety procedures and regulations
– Syspro knowledge
Physical Requirements:
– Ability to stand, walk, and lift
– Comfortable working in a warehouse setting with exposure to temperature changes and noise
Key Competencies
– Good communication skills
– Proper administration of orders
– Ability to function under pressure
– Good numeracy skills and attention to detail
– Ability to work as part of a team
