Our client, one of the largest independent producers of flour in the country, based in Riebeek West, has the abovementioned position available for a professional individual with excellent computer, planning and scheduling skills to join their team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for (but not limited to): *Oversee and manage all warehousing and logistics operations *Optimise space and maintain stock accuracy *Minimize waste/spoilage *Ensure that warehouse supports production and distribution objectives *Timeously receive and capture orders, and ensure efficient and cost-effective product distribution *Ensure that raw materials (grain, flour, additives), packing materials, and finished goods are received, stored, handled and dispatched efficiently, accurately and safely *Scheduling of trucks for delivery *Management of forklift, moveable equipment and trucks *Staff Management *All other tasks related to the position.
 
Essential qualifications, skills and experience:
• Matric;
• A relevant tertiary qualification in Supply Chain or similar field will be advantageous;
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Logistics and Warehousing;
• At least 2 years’ managerial experience;
• Transport, supply chain management, scheduling of products and warehousing knowledge will be advantageous;
• Excellent computer skills (MS Office);
• Valid driver’s license.
