A very well established and reputable company requires a creative Pastry Chef.
In this hands-on role, you’ll focus exclusively on the pastry and decoration aspects of the clients products. We are looking for a visionary who can develop innovative recipes, ideas, and techniques to enhance our toppings, garnishes, and decorative elements.
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or in dessert development, ideally in a Bakery, Patisserie environment (minimum 3-5 years preferred)
- Formal qualification in Pastry Arts, Culinary Arts, or a related field (e.g., diploma or certification from a recognized institution)
- Strong knowledge of the dessert industry, including current trends, flavor science, and ingredient interactions
- Expertise in pastry techniques, such as tempering chocolate, laminating dough, sugar work, and decorative piping
- Ability to follow and adapt recipes precisely while executing creative ideas with flair
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to innovation and continuous improvement
- Excellent communication skills for sharing ideas, providing feedback, and collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Team player who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative setting
- Problem-solving mentality, with the ability to address challenges like ingredient substitutions or production inefficiencies
- Food safety certification (e.g., HACCP or equivalent) is highly desirable
- Basic computer skills for recipe documentation and research.
- Physical stamina to handle early morning shifts and kitchen demands.

- Passion for frozen desserts, with an eye for aesthetics and detail.
- Creativity in fusing traditional pastry methods with modern twists.
- Familiarity with sustainable sourcing and dietary adaptations (e.g., vegan, gluten-free options)
