Our client, in the home and decor space is looking for anyone with a proven management, leadership track record and commitment to excellent customer service within the retail industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operation planning to increase the business unit's profitability
- Achieving and maintaining budgets and profit margins
- Stock control (merchandising, stockholding, stock days, managing dead and toxic stock)
- Managing individual performance, including discipline
- Procurement of new clients, especially professionals (architects and interior designers)
- Personal retail sales
Required Skills
- Management: 5 to 6 years
- Retail: 5 to 6 years
Candidate Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
- Botswana citizen, or in possession of a current, valid Botswana work permit
- A minimum of 5 years experience in the retail industry
- 5-10 years recorded sales experience
- 5-10 years middle management experience
- Extensive stock and overheads management skills
- An ability to maximise personal and team efficiencies
- SAP and Microsoft Office
- Bilingual (English and Setswana)
- Retail hours (including weekends and public holidays
The salary will be BWP 22000 to 25000 per month with company benefits.
The successful candidate will be required to undergo training in Gauteng for a minimum of 3 months, which will be covered by us.
