Job Description: A precision engineering environment requires a qualified Turner Machinist with strong milling experience. The role involves operating lathes and milling machines to high tolerances within a jobbing workshop, ensuring accurate and high-quality component production.

Key Responsibilities:

Interpret detailed engineering drawings and technical specifications
Set up and operate lathes and milling machines
Perform turning, boring, milling, drilling, and slotting operations
Ensure work meets required quality and tolerance standards
Inspect and verify accuracy of finished components

Minimum Requirements

Recognised trade test qualification as a Turner Machinist
Minimum of 3+ years’ experience in the engineering or metal industry
Physically fit and able to handle tools and materials
Good hand–eye coordination and strong practical skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Sound communication skills in English (read, write, and understand)
Willingness to work overtime when required
Own reliable transport
No criminal record
