KAMOA COPPER SA is looking for a Superintendent I Life of Mine (LOM) Planning(2 positions).
The Kamoa Copper Mine is a joint venture between Ivanhoe Mines (39.6%), Zijin Mining Group (39.6%), Crystal River Global Limited (0.8%) and the Government of the Democratic Republic of Congo (20%). It's a very large, near-surface, flat-lying, stratiform copper deposit with adjacent prospective exploration areas within the Central African Copperbelt, at approximately 25 kilometres west of the town of Kolwezi and about 270 kilometres west of the provincial capital of Lubumbashi.

Enable the LOM Mine Planning department by contributing to the KCSA extraction strategy, optimising LOM, medium- and short-term planning systems and processes, prioritising projects/capital expenditure and developing strategic extraction options to achieve KCSA strategic objectives
You will have the following:
- Must have a degree in Mining Engineering
- A Master’s degree in Mine Planning and Optimisation is an added advantage
- Must have at least 8 years’ experience in Life of Mine Planning and Mid-term mine planning
- Must have at least 8 years underground mining experience.
- Must have at least 8 years’ experience working with Deswik mine planning software
- Proficiency in business English is mandatory. Working knowledge of French will be considered highly advantageous
