Buyer position available in Midrand for my client in the Label sector

Minimum requirements:

Matric - compulsary
Supply Chain Management / Purchasing / Logistics / Procurement qualifcation will be an advantage
3-4 years’ experience as a Buyer, preferably in a manufacturing, factory, or industrial environment
Manage all internal forecasting and buying for the group company
Management and Maintenance of warehouse accuracy
Oversee all local and international buying and relative staff allocated to this process
Implement new systems as needed by management
Manage the Syspro processes related to buying and stock management
Accurately monitoring buying trends to streamline current systems and processes
Conducting annual audits on suppliers to ensure they meet company standards
Maintain and manage receipting processes and accuracy of deliveries on local and international orders
Negotiate pricing and volume, rebates and discounts with all suppliers
Maintain on going meetings with all suppliers to ensure standards are maintained at all times
Prepare warehouse month end and financial year end to ensure accuracy of stock
Manage stock rotation
Supplier visits and audits
Consumables expensed on a monthly basis before month end
Ensure the quality standards are maintained within the ISO standards as prescribed
Manage and update all pricing and products in the quoting package to ensure quoting accuracy (Ensure this is done in conjunction with sales and the estimators)
Supplier claims
