Purpose:
Responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, programming, and optimising industrial electrical, electronic, and automation systems within a 24/7 manufacturing environment to ensure maximum uptime and safety compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, fault-find, and repair industrial electrical and electronic systems
PLC programming and troubleshooting (Siemens, Allen Bradley, Delta or similar)
Program and commission variable speed drives
Read and interpret electrical schematics and control diagrams
Support automation improvements and equipment upgrades
Provide breakdown support, planned maintenance, and standby/call-outs
Required Skills
- PLC And Drive Commissioning Experience: 6 to 7 years
- Industrial Or Manufacturing Environment: 6 to 7 years
- Program And Commission Variable Speed Drives: 6 to 7 years
- Repair Industrial Electrical And Electronic Systems
- PLC Programming And Troubleshooting (Siemens, Allen Bradley, Delta Or Similar)
Candidate Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
Qualified Electrician or Millwright, or National Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
Trade Test (Red Seal) mandatory
8–10 years’ experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
Strong PLC and drive commissioning experience
Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic skills
Willing to work extended hours in a 24/7 operation
