Job Title: Tooling & Jig Fabrication Technician

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Tooling & Jig Fabrication Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in metal fabrication and machining, with a specific focus on creating precision tools and jigs for manufacturing processes. This individual will play a key role in the development and maintenance of tooling and jigs to support production operations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and repair precision tools, jigs, and fixtures for various manufacturing processes
- Work closely with engineering and production teams to understand tooling requirements and provide solutions
- Perform troubleshooting and maintenance of existing tooling and jigs to ensure optimal performance
- Collaborate with external vendors for procurement of tooling components and materials
- Conduct inspections and quality checks to ensure tools and jigs meet specifications
- Train and mentor junior technicians on tooling and jig fabrication techniques

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification in metal fabrication or related field preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in tooling and jig fabrication within a manufacturing environment
- Proficient in reading technical drawings and blueprints
- Strong knowledge of machining processes, including milling, turning, and grinding
- Experience with CNC programming and operation is a plus
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
