Employer: West Coast Personnel
This role is responsible for the effective day-to-day operation of the branch stores, including deliveries and collections, stock control, dispatch, picking and packing, and related stores administration. The incumbent will maintain full accountability for branch stores, support stock counts and branch administrative functions, and provide operational backup when required. Strict adherence to company policies, procedures, and EH&S standards is essential, along with the physical ability to handle stock and a valid Code 8 driver’s licence with proven driving experience.
- Physical ability to handle stock.
- Compulsory: Matric or NQF Level 4 Equivalent
- Must be in possession of a valid driver’s license + Code 8.
- Minimum of Four (4) Years driving experience.
- Possession of a Forklift license will be an advantage.
- Experience in a stores environment will be an advantage.
- Proficiency on computers will be an advantage.
- Major Areas of Responsibility:
1) Delivery and Pick-up as instructed.
2) Assist with stock counts as and when necessary.
3) Adhere to Metraclark’s EH&S policy.
4) Adhere to all Company Policies and Procedures
5) Provide back-up as and when necessary.
6) Full control and responsibility for branch stores
7) General stores’ duties including but not limited to: dispatch, picking & packing, housekeeping, IWT’s,
GRN’s, RCN’s, SRN’s and all other stores admin duties
8) Assist with branch admin functions as necessary
