As a full Microsoft ecosystem adopter, we leverage MSSQL as our robust backend database, Visual Studio C++ for our desktop applications, and Visual Studio Blazor for our cutting-edge Online Sales web application. We are seeking an experienced IT programmer to join our talented internal IT team. Your primary focus will be on enhancing and maintaining our Online Sales web application built with Visual Studio Blazor. You'll collaborate closely with our developers to optimise performance, implement new features, and ensure seamless integration with our MSSQL backend. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a critical system that powers our e-commerce operations in the automotive aftermarket.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and deploy new features for the Online Sales web application using Visual Studio Blazor.
- Maintain and troubleshoot existing Blazor components, ensuring high availability and user-friendly experiences.
- Integrate frontend functionalities with our MSSQL database backend for efficient data handling.
- Collaborate with the team on occasional desktop application tasks using Visual Studio C++ when needed.
- Optimise application performance, security, and scalability to meet growing business demands.
- Participate in code reviews, agile methodologies, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Stay updated with Microsoft technologies and best practices to drive innovation.
Required Skills
- Sofware Development: 5 to 6 years
Candidate Requirements
Requirements
- Proven experience (5+ years) in web development, with a strong emphasis on Blazor (essential).
- Proficiency in Visual Studio, C#, and .NET frameworks.
- Solid understanding of MSSQL databases, including query optimisation and schema design.
- Familiarity with Visual Studio C++ for desktop applications is advantageous but not required.
- Experience in the automotive or e-commerce sectors is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or in a team.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering high-quality software solutions.
