Candidate Requirements

Minimum Qualifications, Experience, Skills and Knowledge required:
Matric Certificate or equivalent 
Higher Technical Qualification Advantageous 
Red Seal trade test fitter 
Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in hydraulics environment 
Must be Computer Literate (MS Office – Specifically MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
Knowledge of SYSPRO will be advantageous. 
Individual must be dynamic, motivated and sales driven. 
Understand tribology and contamination control 
Comprehensive knowledge of fluid power principles and components 
Skilled at fault finding fluid power systems 
Skilled steel tube fitting 
Basic welding and general fitting experience 
Understanding of electrical control systems
Fully conversant in hydraulic/pneumatic circuit diagrams 
Must know how to use test equipment and measuring instruments 
Technical Report Writing Advantageous 
Must be medically fit 
Must be bilingual
Behavioural Dimensions Required:
Must be prepared to work weekends and overtime if required 
Must be prepared to do standby
Must have a valid driver licence 
Must have good housekeeping skills 
Must work neatly and cleanly
Must have good attention to detail 
Must have the ability to work under pressure 
Must be customer/service orientated
Must have good communication skills 
Must be a dynamic, motivated self-starter 
Must be able to work independently 
Must be able to advise customers on system upgrades, modifications 
Must have no criminal record
