Helping to ensure that AMC provides a quality product to its customers and consultants and enabling service and support to customers and consultants by means of the following: Management and coordination of the technical aspects of plant and equipment as well as the management of technical staff employed at the factory.  This includes planning, as well as the administrative duties of managing the technical aspects of manufacturing.

Minimum Requirements:

All applicants must meet these requirements:

· BSc Engineering or equivalent NDip

· However, ten years experience in a management role in a medium or large factory, along with a technical trade certificate will negate the need for formal qualification

· 5 years supervisory / managerial experience of an engineering department

· Experience in maintenance, product development and health & safety are important

· Must be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of fault finding, preventive maintenance, disciplinary codes and actions

· Working knowledge of machinery, tooling and process management
