A premium Private Medical Practice is looking for an HPCSA-registered Medical Doctor with a passion for preventative medicine to join their elite team in Melrose Arch. Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, focusing on preventative health and long-term medical care rather than just acute symptoms.
• Analyse and interpret complex blood panels and diagnostic tests to create data-driven, personalized treatment protocols.
• Oversee medical weight-loss programs, including prescribing appropriate clinical interventions and monitoring physiological progress.
• Implement treatment strategies rooted in functional medicine, focusing on systemic health optimization and chronic disease prevention.
• Provide high-level patient education to a sophisticated demographic, clearly communicating medical findings and long-term health strategies.
• Work alongside the broader clinic team to ensure a seamless, premium patient experience within the Melrose Arch facility.
• Maintain meticulous medical records and ensure all clinical practices adhere strictly to HPCSA standards.

Requirements:

• Hold a valid and current registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as a Medical Practitioner.
• Demonstrate a strong clinical background in consulting and the expert interpretation of comprehensive blood work and pathology reports.
• Possess a genuine interest or postgraduate training in preventative medicine, longevity science, or functional medicine approaches.
• Display confidence and experience in managing medical weight-loss protocols and monitoring patient progress.
