Job Description
Develop, negotiate, and finalize contracts with vendors, service providers, and contractors.
Draft, review, and update contracts to ensure they meet all requirements and legal standards.
Ensure contracts comply with company policies, local laws, and industry regulations.
Manage contract disputes and claims, providing solutions and recommendations to mitigate risks.
Track and monitor contract milestones, ensuring all deliverables are met on time and within budget.
Oversee the performance and management of vendors, contractors and service providers.
Conduct site visits to monitor contractor progress, quality of work, and adherence to contract specifications.
Address and resolve any performance related concerns with contractors.
Maintain accurate records of contracts, amendments, and related documentation.
Provide regular reports to senior management on the status of contracts, contractors performance, and progress.

Candidate Requirements
Minimum requirementsBachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in contract management, with at least 5 years in the mining or construction industry.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with contracts and contractors.
Proficient in contract management software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant project management tools.
Willing to work at the mine site.
