Our client, a well-established business in the manufacturing industry based in Philippi (Cape Town), has a vacancy for a Financial Clerk to join their team in a fast-paced work environment.

The ideal candidate is analytical, organised, and eager to build a career in finance. This role requires someone who can work well within a team, manage multiple priorities, and take a proactive approach to learning and problem-solving.

Responsibilities will include (but not limited to): *Perform general financial administration, record-keeping, and data capture *Support the finance team with month-end processes and ad hoc financial tasks *Maintain accurate, up-to-date, and confidential financial records *Liaise with suppliers, staff, and relevant stakeholders regarding financial matters *Assist with internal and external audits by preparing and verifying required documentation *Support cash flow management, financial analysis, and basic risk assessments *Provide administrative and analytical support to the Financial Manager as required *All other tasks related to the role.

Essential qualifications, skills and experience:
• Diploma in Finance, Accounting or related field;
• Minimum 2-3 years' experience in a similar role;
• Proficient in MS Office suite, specifically MS Excel;
• Familiarity with accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks, Xero) will be advantageous;
• Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport.
