Description:
Hire Resolve's Client is currently looking for a Junior Geologist (Resource Geology) to join their mining company based in the Northern Cape.

Responsibilities:

Assist with geological data collection, validation, and management to support resource estimation activities.
Support the creation and updating of geological and resource models under supervision.
Participate in basic geological modelling, interpretation, and wireframing using industry-standard software.
Assist with drilling data review, geological logging, sampling, and QA/QC processes.
Contribute to grade estimation and resource reconciliation activities as required.
Maintain accurate geological databases and documentation in line with company standards.
Assist in the preparation of geological reports, presentations, and technical summaries.
Work closely with senior geologists and mine planning teams to support resource-related projects.
Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental standards.

Requirements:

Grade 12
BSc Hons Degree in Geology
3 years' experience as a Junior Geologist within the mining industry
Must have experience/exposure in Resource Geology
Valid Driver's License
