Position: Resident EngineerLocation: Thohoyandou, LimpopoProject: Construction of a new waterworksContract Duration: 4 years (Immediate start)

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and manage all construction activities on site
Monitor construction progress, workmanship, quality, and compliance with design specifications
Coordinate and liaise with contractors, consultants, engineers, and project stakeholders
Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements
Identify, manage, and resolve site-related issues and construction challenges
Review and approve construction methodologies and material usage
Prepare regular progress reports and provide technical input to project management
Ensure project timelines and milestones are achieved

Minimum Requirements

Minimum 10 years’ experience in construction supervision or resident engineering roles
Strong Civil / Structural Engineering background with proven experience in:

Earthworks
Reinforced concrete
Building structures

Professional registration as PrEng or PrTechni preferred (other relevant registrations will be considered)
Proven experience on large-scale infrastructure or water-related projects will be a strong advantage
Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently in a site-based environment

Employment Conditions

Site-based role in Thohoyandou, Limpopo
Fixed-term contract aligned to project duration (4 years)
Salary negotiable and market-related
