We have an amazing opportunity for a Tax Consultant at a Chartered Accounting firm based in Johannesburg! The main purpose of this role is:

-        The main purpose of this role is to manage and execute the full tax function for an assigned client portfolio, ensuring statutory compliance, accurate tax submissions, and effective SARS engagement.

We require a candidate with:

• Calculation of PAYE
• EMP501 reconciliations
• Preparation of IRP5 certificates and IT3(a)s
• Handling of all statutory registrations
• Experience with VAT audits, income tax audits, objections
• Ability to review and understand assessments and identify errors
• Handling SARS queries and correspondence with both SARS and clients
• Target- and deadline-driven approach
• Ability to manage and control a client portfolio

Proven ability to prepare and submit:

• ITR14s, ITR12s, IT12EI
• IRP6 provisional tax returns
• ITSD and Dividends Tax returns
