Job Title: Receptionist
Job Summary
The Receptionist is responsible for managing the front desk and serving as the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and callers. This role requires excellent communication skills, a professional appearance, and the ability to handle administrative tasks efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Greet and welcome visitors in a friendly and professional manner
Answer and direct incoming phone calls
Manage front desk operations and maintain a tidy reception area
Schedule appointments and maintain calendars
Provide basic information to clients and visitors
Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and photocopying
Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth office operations
Handle inquiries and resolve minor issues or escalate when necessary
Required Skills and Qualifications
High school
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) - Advanced Excel
Ability to multitask and work under pressure
Professional appearance and attitude
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in an office or corporate environment, experience as a receptionist or in a customer service role will be an advantage
Familiarity with office equipment (printers, scanners, phone systems)
