Key Responsibilities
• Deliver safe, evidence-based care for oncology patients, including chemotherapy & targeted therapy administration and symptom management.
• Collaborate closely with the multidisciplinary team (oncologists, pharmacists, and patient counsellors) to coordinate patient care.
• Monitor, assess, and support patients throughout treatment, ensuring their psychosocial care needs are met.
• Uphold infection control and safety standards in the handling of infusion therapies.
• Provide patient and family education, fostering understanding, trust, and empowerment.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and support administrative processes (including billing, authorizations, and consumables management).

Candidate Requirements
- Registered Professional Nurse with the South African Nursing Council (SANC).
- Nursing qualification (Oncology experience – beneficial).
- Proficient in IV therapy, port and line access, chemotherapy/targeted therapy administration & knowledge beneficial
- Demonstrated clinical judgement, attention to detail, and the ability to respond effectively in emergencies.
- Computer literate
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with patients, families, and colleague
- Upholds a high ethical work standard.
- Proficient in both Afrikaans and English.
- Successful candidate(if without oncology experience) will be required to complete the AICF Online Oncology Course within 3 months’ probation period.
- Must demonstrate ability to function in fast passed environment without compromising patient safety or care.
