Employer: iStaff (Pty) Ltd

Our client in the freight forwarding industry requires a Documentation Clerk. Role based in Helderberg.
        Minimum Requirements
        1. Grade 12
        2. Logistics / Trade / Supply Chain qualification
        3. Experience in the clearing and forwarding industry
        4. Understand PPECB/DALRRD/Phytclean/Titan certification process
        5. High level of computer skills (having worked on QX / Ship Shape / Ports Online /Ecert will be highly advantageous)
        6. Willing to work overtime in peak season

        Duties and Responsibilities:
        • Deal with customer queries
        • Prepare export documentation (SD500, Phyto, COO etc.)
        • Communicate ETD / ETA to customers along with any delays in transit
        • Follow up with client or Origin office for suitable documentation
        • Request documents from clients
        • Arrange bookings with clients
        • Liaise with shipping lines
         Position available for Feb 2024.
