Our client in Vereeniging is looking for a Buying Manager, responsible for strategic sourcing, selection and procurement of goods and / or services that meet the companies quality, cost and delivery requirements.Salary negotiable depending on experience and qualification.

Minimum requirements:

Bachelors Degree in Business, Accounting, Materials Management or similar filed
8 Years experience in a similar working environment
Working knowledge of Project Management principles and Supply Chain systems
SAP One experience (Essential)
Excellent MS Office skills - Excel at Advanced level
Excellent knowledge and experience of Administrative processes
Responsible for Supplier and Contract Management, Procurement and Sourcing
Strategic procurement management
Process Improvement and Reporting
Compliance and Risk Management
Ensure that supplier relationships are effectively managed, stock levels are optimized and purchasing decisions support operational needs and company profitability
