A position is available for a Farm Manager with solid table grapes and management experience. Housing provided on farm.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Relevant tertiary qualification
2. More than 7 years of experience in a similar position
3. Solid experience with table grapes (which includes chemicals, irrigation, fertilisation etc.)
4. Solid experience managing labour
5. Proficient with Paltrack and Excel, Glogabl GAP and SIZA

 
Duties and Responsibilities:

• In charge of managing the daily operations of the farm, which includes managing labour, budgets and suppliers
• Ensure the packhouse is efficient in quality and quantity
• Assist with the budget
• Ensure products are of good quality
• Manage irrigation and fertilisation
• Ensure suppliers are managed effectively
• Motivate and train employees on farm
