Manufacturing Company in Cape Town looking for a qualified and experienced Senior Cost Accountant to join their team.

World Class Manufacturing Company in Cape Town has an opportunity for a qualified and experienced Senior Cost Accountant. You will be reporting to the Financial Manager and will liaise closely with the procurement and production departments in order to monitor & report on the relevant management accounts. This will include Material Variances, Contract prices, Cost of labour, Cost of projects, Forecast of BOM costs against actual costs, investigating variances, drawing up of relevant reports and providing monthly management reports to all departments. You will also be expected to participate with the Budget and provide cost estimate for new projects and products.
 
Requirements:
Degree in Cost & Management Accounting or relevant qualification
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Manufacturing environment
Previous experience in working with Bill of Materials (BOMs), costing and variances in a manufacturing environment
Working knowledge on ERP systems
Working knowledge of SYSPRO advantageous
Advanced Excel skills
Valid Driver’s License and own vehicle
