Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for retail excellence and team success? We're looking for a hands-on Assistant Manager to join our team in Heidelberg and help drive sales, deliver outstanding customer experiences, and support smooth daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the Site Manager in all aspects of store operations, including opening/closing procedures, staff scheduling, and stock management
Lead, coach, and motivate the team to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve sales goals
Handle customer queries, complaints, and escalations professionally and efficiently
Monitor inventory levels, conduct stock counts, and minimise shrinkage
Assist with staff training, performance reviews, and recruitment when required
Drive promotional activities and ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety standards

Step up as acting manager in the absence of the Store Manager

What We're Looking For:
- 2–4 years' experience in retail/supervisory role (Assistant Manager or Team Leader experience preferred)
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a team
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational abilities
- Matric certificate (essential); post-matric qualification in Retail/Business Management advantageous
- Computer literate (POS systems, MS Office)
- Total ESO(ISIS) & NAMOS system experience.
- HSEQ laws & training knowledge.
- Willing to work shifts
- Energetic, positive attitude with high attention to detail
